I welcome serious inquiries from other Leopold and Loeb scholars as well as those in the media with questions regarding the case. I also enjoy hearing from people with personal ties to the principals in the case. If you have a story, I would love to hear it!

Please note that in many cases, answers to emails I recieve are contained within this site. In such cases I will usually not reply as it indicates that the person asking has not even taken the time to read the site.
This is a not for profit, educational only site, not a homework helpline. I will not answer your essay questions. I will not write your term paper. I will not write your "history Day" submission, nor your "History Fair" project.
Emails asking things such as "pleas tel me more about Lobe and Leopold" will most likely not elicit a reply. Please do not send me email asking for "more information". That doesn't mean anything. I have an entire room of information. "Please send me more information" means nothing. It will be ignored.

Because many people have emailed to ask what the point of this website is, I will elaborate here. This website is a hobby website maintained by me, Marianne Rackliffe. I am not a history teacher. I am not a historian. I am merely fascinated with this "Crime of the Century". The purpose of this website is to provide factual information and to dispell many myths regarding this case that have formed in the public consciousness over 75 years, due to creative historical fiction, "inspired by" plays and movies, and creative journalists. My research has been exhaustive but is by no means complete. History, after all, is always a work in progress. I enjoy recieving emails from people who have interesting tales to tell or personal ties to the Leopolds, the Loebs, the Darrows, Crowes and others involved in the case.
